Resolved: This House Believes That Fat Bottomed Girls Do Indeed Make the Rockin' World Go Round

or: What Happens When You Let Freddie Mercury Into the Bankers' Bonuses Debate.

From The Daily Mirror:
Hilarious clip sees Queen's Fat Bottomed Girls start playing live on air during angry PMQs discussion

As Dom Joly proved, sometimes nothing is as funny as a ringtone interrupting a serious moment. Such was the scene on todays Daily Politics show on BBC Two, during a heated debated about Prime Minister's Questions.

As MPs Caroline Flint and Shailesh Vara argued about banking bonuses, a ringtone interrupted the discussion.

After some confusion, Nick Robinson realised it was in fact his tablet producing the noise. But it wasn't just any noise. It appears the BBC political editor's song of choice is Queen's Fat Bottomed Girls. Who would have guessed?
First time I've ever juxtaposed Oxford Union head with Daily Mirror bod.
Probably the last, too.
